As we reach the end of summer and remembering to turn our clocks back on Sunday morning I reflect on what’s been happening in my life over the past month.  Have had several skype visits with my producer Ron Thaler in regards to some exciting possible opportunities overseas regarding recording and touring…and looking at my new album.

Locally I was invited to perform at the annual Tu Meke Festival which is a melting pot of cultural diversity … I loved it!  Bringing together people from all walks of life to celebrate their community, art, music and food.  MC’d by Luke Whaanga, NZ Idol finalist.

I attended a function hosted by the Hutt City of Commerce and was introduced to a very inspirational speaker Laura Humphreys. This event was to celebrate national Woman’s Day and was organized by Otila Osborne of Success Execs.  My introduction included a brief bio on my career including an apparent cameo presentation for President Obama (nice work when you can get it!).

Coming up next week my manager and I have an hour live interview with DJ Mike Dee at Hutt City Radio (106.1 FM – Wednesday 2pm-3pm Show) where I will be performing tracks from my Destiny album along with one of my latest singles.  A rear occasion where you will hear me play the piano and sing…so take a listen peps!!
