PRIME Music Academy has helped hundreds of aspiring singers and musicians from all age groups reach their full musical potential. Some have become NZ and Australian Idol finalists; others have gone on to be international artists and top-charting bands in their own right, like double platinum recording artists, Evermore.

We offer instructions in all styles of music and on many instruments including: Voice, Piano, Guitar, Bass, Drums & Ukulele from our multiple studio facilities located in Upper Hutt and Whitianga NZ. Prime Music Academy also offers it’s unique curriculum and specialised teaching techniques online, through our Skype program. Our Skype lesson plans are unique, and offer the ability for students located anywhere, nationally or around the world to participate with our teachers in pursuing their music education and achieving their musical dreams. We also offer specific training in NCEA high school music exams, University Practical Music exams and in the Trinity College of London Grade Exams.

PRIME Music Academy is run by IRMTNZ registered music teacher and NZ music icon ANITA PRIME QSM, a 2011 LAMA Los Angeles Music Award winner and USA Billboard top 40 charting artist. In addition to her own career as a recording artist, Anita has participated on many international releases as a studio session vocalist, lyricist and vocal coach, and continues to be in high demand in the USA, Canada, and Europe for her unique vocal abilities among well-known music producers, labels and music business professionals. A wonderful bonus for students who seek a career in the music industry as Anita is always happy to talk about her own professional experiences, and share her up-to date perspectives and insight into the workings of the modern music industry.
