Busy and loving it!

If I could pick three words to describe the last month and a half it would be busy, busy, and busy. I cannot believe how the time has flown and what a hectic schedule I have had. So what’s Anita been up to? I guess the highlights of the last month would have to be performing at Wharekauhau Country Estate for a wonderful couple who were celebrating their wedding, it was beautiful night and I wish them all the happiness in the world as they embark on their lives journey together. Later in the month I was please to be able to perform at a concert in my home town of Palmerston North. This was an opportunity to catch up and perform with some friends I haven’t seen for awhile which is always nice.

Earlier in June I attend a farewell for my Marketing Manager Otila who is now basing herself in Bali. I wish her and her family every happiness in their new venture and I’m looking forward to visiting them over there at some stage.

I have also been working with one of our local radio stations Hutt City Radio; I now have a regular spot every three weeks for two hours on a Wednesday afternoon (2-4pm). This is a fantastic opportunity for me to show case my music to a local audience. I will also add that the team at Hutt city Radio a fantastic to deal with, totally professional and dedicated to what they believe in.  If you want to listen feel free to click on the following link: http://tunein.com/radio/Hutt-Radio-1061-s210970/

I am now working on some new material for my next album which is progressing nicely and also in talks with some people in regards to a very special project which I am extremely excited about and hopefully can confirm more details in my next Dear Diary.

On the 20th of this month I had a select group of friends and family to preview my latest music video Rain. We finally have it finished and I want to thank Nicole Hardie for all her work in producing an outstanding video for me.  I will post more on this in a few days and a breakdown of the wonderful afternoon’s events.

So all in all a busy month and lots to look forward to in the coming weeks. Take care everyone. God bless!
