Another “Shakey” Week…

As I started to write this it was a beautiful still day that soon changed at about 2.30 when the whole place started to shake and roll and shake. Luckily nothing was damaged and I hope everyone is safe. So what’s been happening in my world since my last Dear Diary , well my manger has been working hard on my behalf and has got my CDs into yet another very popular music store … Mint Music, Lower Hutt.  So if you wish to buy my Destiny CD pop in and have chat with Chris. This is an awesome music store that not only stocks international albums it does a fantastic job in supporting and promoting a lot of local artists.
The next big thing on my calendar was I had been invited to sing the National Anthem of Israel for the new ambassador. Learning a new song can be stressful enough but learning Hebrew was challenge lol, thanks to Ron Thaler who gave me some help on Skype from his New York office. So after a couple of sleepless nights, I performed for the ambassador on Sunday night. Big thanks to Richard and Sarai for backing me on the night you guys were awesome as always! I also sung a couple of my new songs, River and Ma Ihowa (The Lord Bless You). You can check these out on you tube.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nZUoanNkDpU (Preview)  🙂 🙂
The evening went well and I thank everyone who was involved for helping me make this happen. I have been invited to perform for the Embassy again later this month this time doing the NZ National Anthem.
This weekend I am performing at Bubbles Champagne Bar in my home town of Palmerston North.  I’m really looking forward to it, this is free entry so if anyone is in “Palmy” come on down for a show and a bite to eat, awesome food and of course an awesome show!  J  I will be performing some of my latest songs so would love to see you there!
That’s about it for now have a safe week and if the earth starts shaking again just hold on and keep safe.
My Manager says I have to wish the all Blacks good luck for tomorrow night against the Aussies so GO the ABS!!!!God Bless,
Anita x
