I’m finally back home in New Zealand sipping on some Laffaré coffee after a three week whirlwind of events.  I’m feeling so excited with all that’s taken place…
After having a fantastic time performing in Western Canada in mid January I went to Cannes, France for the MIDEM International Music Festival.  I performed an acoustic showcase at the Carlton Hotel on their beautiful grand piano.  Talk about a flash hotel…man it was amazing!!  They haven’t allowed anyone to perform there in 30 years during MIDEM…what an honor for me to have been invited to sing and play! I was then asked to come back and perform there for 10 days during the “Cannes International Film Festival” in May…so, yeah, I checked my schedule….ummm, hmmm, let me see …yup, ok, I found some open time… haha!!  It’s going to be totally awesome…I’ll see if Robert De Niro wants to hang out for a coffee…

So after France I performed in London doing an acoustic set at this very fetching and energetic bar in Kensington, called The Piano.  Great audience and vibe…and afterwards met up with a couple of Kiwis who live in London now…was nice to ‘talk Kiwi’ for a while lol
From there I flew back to LA…and had one day of down time…so yip, had to do it, went to Disneyland!!!  What better way to chill out for a day than hit a few roller coasters baby…yeeeaahhh!!
