Time for Winter Woolies

As we are now coming into the cold part of our year it is time to break out the woolies and keep warm in front of the fire. So what have I been up to apart from trying to stay out of the cold.

In June I was the headline act for a charity concert  which was to raise money for the Comerford  family in Christchurch that have been hit by a double tragedy, the show highlighted some local and national talent and it was awesome to be part of this event and use our talents as artists to help those in need. The money we raised has gone to the family to help them with their every day needs, everyone involved gave their time freely and a great time was had by all. We closed with a rather emotional farewell and the satisfaction of knowing that we had done our bit to help someone in their time of need.

Always wonderful singing in Palmerston North at the Legacy Centre.  I was back there again this month with a wonderful turn out.  Hoping to be back again soon for another show!

Sport has been playing a big part in our capital city recently and I was invited to perform the National anthem and half time entertainment for the NBL Basketball finals. This was a great honour and it was a very exciting night. After some debate with my manager Mr G, I settled on the songs that I would perform at half time, little did I know that I would be joined by the Wellington Saints mascot a dancing Gorilla. Photos can be found on my facebook page along with a few below, so the evening was a lot of fun with sport music and a great audience, I look forward too the next one .

So now as I turn up the heater another notch I am planning some family time. I’m off to spend some time with my mum and dad in the beautiful tranquil setting of Whitanga. Keep an eye out for some stunning photos on facebook over the next week or so.

Until the next time take care my friends . Stay safe and God bless!
